BANJO, and BASS PLAYER NEEDED for gigging acoustic band, Princeton, NJ area. Harmony singer a real asset!  We are Blue Heart, a five member roots acoustic band (http://www.blueheartband.com). Due to injuries and time schedules, we're looking to replace our bass and banjo player. We have two gigs in April coming up; and we perform at local venues, including bluegrass/country radio and area tv. We are looking for good musicians in our local area near Princeton, NJ, who want to commit to regular weekly rehearsals and perform,  but also enjoy relaxed jam sessions-- we're an easygoing group and are looking for same.

If interested, please email us at: blueheartband.com@gmail.com and send us a link to any clips of you playing, YouTube, Facebook, etc.  Thanks!              2/10

"NYC FOLK/COUNTRY BAND SEEKS BANJOIST/GUITARIST...for vocally-driven
project which mixes several different genres of roots music
(primarily looking for instrumentalist, singing is fine but not
necessary).  We are well established in the Manhattan/Brooklyn area -
playing out about once a month - and have just released our debut CD.
Our departing member played banjo, mandolin and dobro; we are looking
to replace him with someone who plays the banjo and some rhythm
guitar.  We're a big fan of atmospheric banjo and/or avant garde
banjo, though some of our songs undoubtedly might sound good with a
little traditional banjo picking. You can see and hear us online at:
www.bobtownmusic.com or myspace.com/bobtownmusic.  Give us a shout if
you'd like more info or if you're interested in getting together to
meet.  Thanks for your time!  Contact:  katherine.etzel@gmail.com"
